This kit is expertly designed for ease of manufacture. Each of the 7 aluminium castings will swing in a lathe of 3 1/2" centre height or larger. Additional stubs have been cast-in to ease set ups, apertures for the motor and other features are created simply by facing away hollows and one of the castings is parted off to produce 3 separate components.
The kit of course also includes all of the material required to complete this project including:
• Face mounted, 250W (1/3 HP), 2 pole, 240V motor (50 or 60hz) with switch, cable and connectors.
• SKF precision bearings, wave-form preload washer, drive belts (2) and oil nipple, together with all necessary steel and fasteners.
• (4) WA60KV Aluminium Oxide Grinding Wheels: Ø3" Plain Wheel, Ø80mm Cup Wheel, Ø3/4" & Ø1/2" Recessed Internal Wheels.
• If required, full drawing set with illustrated Construction Notes, Operating Guidelines and Safety Precautions.
